The Story

While on tour the 2010 Warped Tour, i found myself talking a lot each night with the bands about the different music scenes outside of North America. Kids in other parts of the world rarely have the chance to see there favorite bands, and if they do it usually a shortened set at a festival a long side with 300 other bands.  The story behind this film (taking place in Australia around the time the annual Soundwave Festival) is to find kids who truly love music and have them talk about what it all means to them. How it has changed their lives and how even when you live 10,000 miles away from your favorite band, that one day you get to see them is all worth it.

The Impact

The impact of this film is to not only make everyone realize not to take these small things (like seeing shows every month) for granted but to really cherish the moment when you get to see your favorite band live. For kids in Australia they’re lucky to see their favorite band once or twice in their lifetime, where as kids in North America see them up to 5 times a year.

What We Need & What You Get

All the funding for this project goes to helping cover flight costs, food costs, travel expenses, and camera gear rental. There will be no personal money gain from this project, everything funded goes right back into the production of this film.

In return for your donation, you will receive gifts such as Photo prints, Personalized photo books, In film mentions and thank yous, and chances to see the film before anyone else does.

About

At the ripe age of 14, a young man born in Liverpool, England, floated over to Vancouver, Canada, on a small wooden door. This is how he got scurvy. Now embracing it, the young man lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba and is videographer at a local studio.
